Managing Director

Bob Chisamba

Bob is responsible for all company oversight operations and direction of the enterprise.

Bob is responsible for all company oversight operations and provides direction for the enterprise, which includes oversight of Finance, Administration, corporate development among others. He is a member of the Company’s senior leadership team and reports to the Executive Board. Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with distinction, a Diploma in Business Management Systems and a Certificate in leadership in business from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey - USA and a Master of Business Administration specialised in Finance.

He is an alumnus of the 2022 Mandela Washington Fellowship program and the Young Africa Leaders Initiative at the State University of New Jersey School of Business in USA and the Regional Leadership Center – South Africa (YALI – RLC SA) at the University of South Africa – School of Business Leadership (SBL) and an alumni ambassador on a Youth Think Tank Project implemented in Seven African Countries by Restless Development Uganda and the MasterCard Foundation.

He is a Professional member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), the Malawi Accountants Board and the institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM).

Finance and Administration Manager

Florence Tsoka

Florence is responsible for all finance functions for the Company.

Florence is responsible for all finance functions for the Company. She also has executive responsibility for the internal audit, supply chain functions and business development. She is a member of the Company’s senior leadership team and reports to the Managing Director.

She has held several corporate finance positions of increasing responsibility including as an International Operations Manager, as an administration Officer and later as a Finance Lead, Administration and Legal with AIESEC in Malawi and an Audit and Assurance Associate and a Credit Control officer for Audit Consult Limited and Solar Works Limited respectively.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with credit and a Diploma in Business Management Systems. She is a Professional member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), the Malawi A

Blessings is responsible for all Service Operations of the Company.

Our Impact

We are strongly focused on making positive impact

  • InteWaste is Saving 5.21 tonnes of CO2 every day which would otherwise be emitted by transportation of waste and at landfills. By partnering with individuals, communities and organizations in Lilongwe, we take action 365 days a year to make a real impact on our planet. InteWaste separates Paper, plastic and metal waste which are sold to different buyers at small prices while reducing landfills.
  • InteWaste Provides clean and affordable energy access to targeted off grid local communities in rural and last-mile locations with no access to electricity through distributing solar home systems through an agent-based, pay-as-you-go business model and biogas energy for heating and other powering purposes, the company provides customers with a sustainable, affordable, reliable and clean energy source and makes them independent from costly fossil fuels and green gas emissions.
  • InteWaste returns carbon and nutrients to the soil by selling compost manure to over 100 commercial farmers. We are focused on reducing climate change impacts on farmers, facilitating circularity and empowering people to live sustainably
  • InteWaste raises awareness about recycling, composting and reducing waste and spreads the joy of composting through workshops, campaigns, seminars and sessions in schools, markets & communities.
  • InteWaste sustainability Services, our advisory services business, helps customers waste less and operate more sustainably.
  • The company recruits production, packaging and sales force from local youth and women thereby providing them with a formal income, women empowerment and education.
  • InteWaste Pursue social impact and engage with the sustainable development goals (SDG) 7, 11 and 13.
